What is your favorite part about living in Phoenix? The abundance of activities located around here from hiking Camelback Mountain to kayaking in Saguaro Lake or attending any major sporting event this is a great city to be in.
In your words, what makes DoubleTree Suites Phoenix a great place to visit? It’s an airport hotel that doesn’t act like an airport hotel. Our amazing courtyard allows guests to take full advantage of the weather in Arizona without having to travel a great distance. We are close to Tempe and Downtown Phoenix and our staff is AMAZING providing the best service to our guests.
What do you like about working at DoubleTree Suites Phoenix? The opportunity to differentiate ourselves from the other “Airport Hotels” in Phoenix by providing an experience to our guests that they wouldn’t expect at our location.
What did you want to grow up to be when you were a kid? A professional basketball player.
What is your spirit animal and why? My spirit animal is the Raven because I have a unique sense of humor, I thrive in a team atmosphere and I enjoy solving problems.

What is your favorite part of living in Phoenix? Family, friends, DoubleTree and the weather (6 months of the year…lol)
Why is DoubleTree a great place to visit? Our staff will treat you like family
What do you like about working at DoubleTree? I love that so many clients have become good friends and that they want to come back every year and our staff recognizes our guests year after year and addresses them by name.
What did you want to grow up to be when you were a kid? I wanted to be a nurse growing up, but I soon found out I was too soft hearted. When I volunteered at the Cheyenne V.A. taking care of terminal patients, I knew then it was not for me. However, because of my experience I have always appreciated the strength that nurses show everyday.
What is my spirit animal and why? Wolves. I appreciate that their strength comes from experience and acumen versus brute strength which is more common in nature.
What do you like to do on your free time? I like to golf and hang with my family and friends on my free time.

What is your favorite part about living in Phoenix? Family
In your words, what makes DoubleTree Suites Phoenix a great place to visit? You can’t beat the service and the staff members are amazing.
What do you like about working at DoubleTree Suites Phoenix? It feels like I’m working with family. I love my co-workers. I also have an opportunity to work with some amazing clients. I get really attached to some of my wedding couples and have been known to tear up during their ceremony.
What did you want to grow up to be when you were a kid? Home Ec. teacher, author, fat lady at the circus.
What is your spirit animal and why? The bear – for some reason, I have an affinity for them. I think I was a bear in a past life.
What are your top 3 favorite Podcasts/Books? I don’t usually listen to podcasts but the Ron Burgundy podcast was hilarious.

What do you like about working at DoubleTree Suites Phoenix? The people make this place unique and rewarding. The family culture is what distinguishes our hotel from other properties.
What did you want to grow up to be when you were a kid? I grew up in hotels as my father built hotels and remodeled them for a living. I knew from an early age that I wanted to be in hotel management and studied at Johnson and Wales (5,000 miles from home) to get the proper training and education to make my dream come true.
What is your spirit animal and why? The power of the wolf brings forth instinct, intelligence, appetite for freedom, and awareness of the importance of social connections
What do you like to do when not at work? I like to spend all my free time with my husband Phil and surrounding ourselves with friends and family and living a healthy lifestyle. We are very big about reading before bed, about improving and exploring our faith, and we absolutely love trivia and will never miss a jeopardy show on TV. We enjoy listening to Dr. Charles Stanley on a daily basis.

What is your favorite part about living in Phoenix? I love that your day can be on top of a mountain in beautiful Sedona, at a professional sports game in the day or at a brewery in the evening with some great live music. Your options are limitless on things to do and see!
In your words, what makes DoubleTree Suites Phoenix a great place to visit? The hotel has a lot of great amenities and options but I’m always about convenience when I travel. So having your breakfast each day as part of your stay, or relaxing out at the pool or jumping on the light rail to go downtown is such a great possibility to have out any hotel stay! And doing all of that with my dog is even better!
What do you like about working at DoubleTree Suites Phoenix? I love the team atmosphere and everyone wanting to take care of our guests needs to make their experience one of a kind!
